Dairy Technical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Offer technical guidance and assistance to dairy consultants and clients throughout the sales process and beyond.

• Aid sales efforts with dairy ration formulation and continuous training initiatives.

• Work alongside consultants to deliver onsite technical assistance to both existing customers and potential clients.

• Provide tailored customer solutions and develop technical support materials for specific clients.

• Conduct in-depth research for product development to gain insights into product properties and operational systems.

• Gather and evaluate data for project updates, collaborating with external suppliers to test new products and technologies, and offering recommendations on their applications.

• Organize project data and findings for internal and customer presentations, assist in product demonstrations, and act as a subject matter expert during meetings with prospective clients.

• Remain informed about product insights and research to enhance the value of offerings.

• Maintain up-to-date application and value collection in the relevant systems.

• Manage complex issues independently with minimal oversight, escalating only the most challenging problems to the appropriate personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Dairy related field) or equivalent professional experience.

• At least four years of relevant work experience.

• Significant experience in dairy technical support and ration balancing formulation.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Familiarity with Dairy Ration Formulation and herd management software (PC Dart, Dairy Comp, Lely Horizon, Delpro, etc.).

• Background in customer support.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
