Cybersecurity Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Assist with the monthly reviews of cloud tenant and account access.

• Participate in the triage of MDR alerts.

• Contribute to monthly security evaluations by generating reports, creating summaries, and monitoring remediation efforts.

• Aid in the administration of phishing simulation campaigns and generate reports on end-user security awareness.

• Support and manage documentation related to the cyber toolset, covering tools in use, ownership, scope, and coverage.

• Assist with security checks during the onboarding and offboarding processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Basic understanding of essential security concepts, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), endpoint protection, phishing, network fundamentals, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), and the principle of least privilege.

• Proficient with spreadsheets and basic scripting for collecting evidence and reporting.

• Familiarity with at least one cloud service is advantageous: Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, Azure, AWS, or Google Workspace administration.
