This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

• Assist in the implementation and ongoing enhancement of SUSE’s worldwide cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance strategy.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for AI Governance, ensuring adherence to emerging global regulations.

• Create, maintain, and facilitate the execution of SUSE ISMS policies, procedures, and standards.

• Ensure that governance policies are translated effectively into technical controls.

• Supervise the management of control and evidence collection for key compliance frameworks.

• Coordinate and lead both internal and external security audits.

• Design and implement security awareness programs to foster a culture of compliance.

• Define and enhance GRC and AI governance workflows, evidence models, dashboards, and automation needs.

• Operationalize and sustain SUSE’s AI Management System.

• Monitor and enforce compliance of internal AI adoption with relevant global AI regulations.

• Over 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity GRC and a minimum of 3 years in AI Governance or a related field.

• In-depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 42001, and SOC 2 frameworks.

• Extensive understanding of current EU cybersecurity regulations (NIS2, CRA, DORA, EU AI Act).

• Proven experience managing complete audit lifecycles.

• Demonstrated comprehension of AI concepts and the operational risks linked to deploying AI technologies in an enterprise setting.

• Strong collaboration skills with Engineering, Security Operations, and Security Architect teams.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across various technical/compliance teams is a plus.

• Proven capability to effectively utilize and integrate AI tools into daily operations.

• Familiarity with open-source software is an advantage.

• Cybersecurity certifications are considered a plus.
