Cybersecurity Analyst II – Disaster Recovery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the planning, implementation, and assessment of disaster recovery protocols to guarantee business continuity.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to confirm recovery preparedness and address any identified weaknesses.

• Maintain oversight of hardware and software assets throughout the organization to mitigate security risks.

• Ensure that assets are accurately monitored, compliant, and aligned with lifecycle and vulnerability management protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

• IT Fundamentals – A foundational understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure components, including basic networking, servers, databases, storage, and core cloud concepts (GCP, AWS, Azure).

• Security Awareness – General knowledge of contemporary cybersecurity principles, basic risk management, and prevalent threats that can lead to IT outages.

• Data Organization – Demonstrated ability to collect, organize, and analyze technical or business data from various sources to aid in reporting or decision-making.

• Project Coordination – Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of tracking tasks, managing meeting schedules, and facilitating logistics for workshops, interviews, and testing sessions.

• Effective Communication – Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to explain basic technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Continuity Concepts – A basic comprehension of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity, including an understanding of Business Impact Analysis and metrics like RTO and RPO.
