Cybersecurity Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist in the monitoring of security systems, alert responses, and incident management processes.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments, provide support for penetration testing, and perform risk analysis tasks.

• Effectively communicate with both internal teams and external stakeholders across various time zones.

• Keep precise records of security incidents, audits, and compliance-related documentation.

• Utilize relevant tools such as SIEM platforms, endpoint protection software, and threat intelligence resources.

• Aid the broader team with security awareness training and the development of policies.

• Identify avenues to enhance the organization's security posture and minimize risk exposure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, IT security, or a related discipline.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in English.

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple security-related tasks concurrently.

• Proficient in utilizing security tools, SIEM platforms, and network monitoring technologies.

• Capable of working independently and effectively managing your own time.

• High attention to detail coupled with a proactive problem-solving mindset.

• Experience with UK-based clients or employers is a plus.
