Cyber Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee security alerts and events utilizing a variety of security tools and platforms.

• Evaluate security incidents to assess their impact and severity.

• Support the investigation and resolution of security incidents.

• Engage in the incident response process, which includes identification, containment, eradication, and recovery.

• Aid in identifying and assessing vulnerabilities within client systems.

• Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.

• Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training for clients.

• Help ensure compliance with applicable security standards and regulations.

• A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.

• Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, antivirus software).

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst / CySA+).

• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

• Knowledge of network protocols and operating systems.
