Cyber Defense Analyst (Blue Team)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Prevent and alleviate harmful cyber actions, whether they are deliberate or unintentional;

• Assess and interpret network incidents and system irregularities within a SOC setting;

• Analyze, develop, and fine-tune alerts produced by security tools such as SIEM, IPS, FW, etc.;

• Formulate and adhere to security playbooks for the triage and escalation of security alerts;

• Work alongside Level 2+ analysts to investigate and research cybersecurity threats;

• Maintain an inquisitive and investigative approach when dealing with security incidents;

• Familiarity with security tools to identify, avert, and address intrusions;

• Manage incidents, requests, issues, and changes related to managed solutions;

• Compile analytical reports;

• Assist in the creation and upkeep of KPIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to work a 12x36 shift schedule;

• CompTIA Security+ (preferred);

• LPI-I (preferred);

• ITIL (preferred);

• Additional cybersecurity certifications (preferred).
