This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, assisting them in continuously enhancing their utilization of Planful’s Financial Performance Management Suite.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Renewal, and Account Managers to promote adoption, value realization, and the long-term health of key accounts.
• Facilitate strategic discovery and solution alignment sessions to comprehend evolving client objectives and pinpoint optimization opportunities.
• Offer best practice recommendations on financial planning, closing, and reporting processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Evaluate existing client configurations and propose improvements that align with current and future business needs.
• Assist clients with change management initiatives, ensuring the successful implementation of new processes and capabilities.
• Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to enhance outcomes.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex functional challenges, concentrating on root cause analysis and long-term solutions.
• Work collaboratively across functions with Product and Engineering to advocate for customer needs and impact roadmap priorities.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to become a long-term strategic partner in their financial transformation journey.
• Over 5 years of experience in Accounting or FP&A, with familiarity in financial reporting, budgeting, consolidations, and/or close management.
• Practical experience with financial planning and reporting processes.
• Background in Financial Management or EPM software in a functional, advisory, or post-implementation role.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to enhancing customer outcomes.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform business needs into scalable solutions.
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple customer engagements and priorities concurrently.
