This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Act as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for the Customer Success Platform Area, focusing on Splunk Core products including Enterprise and Cloud.
• Provide strategic support to roles such as Customer Success Executive, Technical Success Engineer, Solution Engineer, and Solution Architect.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to help assigned customers realize their value.
• Conduct onboarding and enablement workshops, along with providing prescriptive guidance and assistance.
• Meet onboarding and customer success objectives.
• Regularly assess account health with Technical Success Engineers, concentrating on telemetry risk indicators and accounts nearing renewal within six months.
• Work with Customer Success Executives to explore adoption and use-case opportunities.
• Liaise with CS/SE management to ensure priority alignment and address risk accounts or thematic areas.
• Tackle complex technical challenges and resolve issues proactively to prevent customer impact.
• Advise account teams and customers on best practices for utilizing the Splunk Platform.
• Offer recommendations to enhance customers’ overall technical health.
• Provide strategic, case-based technical consulting for up to 90 days.
• Investigate resources to address inquiries and resolve intricate technical issues.
• Secure consensus on the measurable value of proposed solutions with account teams and customer decision-makers.
• Contribute to practice KPIs through enhancements in processes, collateral, tool development, and implementation.
• Several years of experience in administering and utilizing Splunk Core (Enterprise/Cloud).
• Strong expertise in Splunk architecture.
• Significant experience in data onboarding.
• In-depth knowledge of Splunk Core product features.
• Proficient in SPL (Search Processing Language).
• Solid background in technical consulting or big-data analytics.
• Strong grasp of common enterprise applications.
• Skills in statistical and analytical modeling are advantageous.
• Proficiency in bash scripting.
• Expertise in Java, Python, and .NET application development.
• Proficiency in databases and analytical tools.
• Practical experience implementing key Splunk products and Splunk Cloud.
• Experience with cloud migration initiatives.
