This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
• Reporting to the Regional Manager of Customer Success, the Customer Success Manager (CSM) will serve as the primary liaison and point of contact for current customers.
• The main emphasis will be on post-sale interactions, upselling/cross-selling, enablement, service performance, renewals, and enhancing the customer experience.
• Responsible for driving incremental sales and preserving existing revenue by proactively engaging with customers and introducing them to new product enhancements.
• Collaborate with Direct Sales Executives and Solutions Architects to drive, expand, and retain targeted revenue from current customers.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to existing clients, concentrating on initial onboarding and enablement to ensure rapid realization of value.
• Advocate for customers throughout their entire journey, facilitating the resolution of customer-related challenges and concerns from a Commercial and Sales perspective.
• Analyze and report on customer experiences, communicating trends to the broader team and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Enterprise software market or the Internet/Telecommunications sectors.
• At least 3 years of experience in an Account Management or Customer Success position.
• Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced technical environment with multiple tasks or objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across both internal and external organizations.
• Demonstrable capability to identify customer needs, understand their service issues or “pain points,” and present appropriate solutions.
• Ability to achieve revenue results while employing a consultative-based selling approach.
• Capacity to work with the broader Megaport teams to focus on revenue generation and outcomes.
• Maintain records, reports, and data in accordance with Megaport models, emphasizing revenue retention from the existing customer list.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external organizations.
• Experience in proposing or implementing cloud and virtualized compute solutions in enterprise customer environments is highly preferred.
