This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and billing transactions in accordance with established department policies and procedures.
• Engage and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders professionally when additional information is required, ensuring prompt processing.
• Maintain comprehensive policy documentation and update customer information as needed.
• Rate endorsements and transactions across multiple lines of business.
• Foster and sustain positive customer relations while coordinating with various departments within the organization.
• Execute pre-underwriting tasks for policy transactions based on company processing procedures and underwriting guidelines or carry out preparatory work.
• Order necessary reports for new business, renewals, and endorsements, such as CLUE, MVR, SOCRECARD, DADS, etc.
• Uphold acceptable productivity and quality levels as established by management.
• Carry out all tasks under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
• Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures.
• An associate’s degree is preferred; insurance training or basic insurance courses are advantageous.
• Fewer than 2 years of experience in an agency or insurance company is preferred.
• Strong skills in communication, customer service, problem-solving, confidentiality, professionalism, and adaptability.
