This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Assist student loan borrowers with inquiries regarding their accounts, repayment options, and application processes.
• Manage both inbound and outbound calls in a dynamic and high-volume contact center setting.
• Deliver accurate, professional, and empathetic customer service.
• Ensure adherence to federal regulations, company policies, and data security standards.
• Achieve key performance indicators and uphold quality assurance standards.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, primarily handling calls from Spanish-speaking clients.
• High School diploma or GED is necessary.
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience in a business, non-retail environment or call center.
• At least 6 months of computer experience in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote).
• Ability to secure and maintain a Federal Public Trust (5c) security clearance (financial/credit history and background will be assessed): Must not be in default on federal student loans.
• Proven track record of financial responsibility.
• No felony convictions in the last 7 years.
• Misdemeanor convictions within the past 7 years may affect eligibility.
• No non-medical collections amounting to $7,500 or more.
• Prior experience in a call center is preferred.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Health & Welfare Pay: An additional $5.09 per hour (up to 40 hours per week), sufficient to fully cover employee-only medical, dental, and vision premiums.
