This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
β’ Respond to incoming calls for the clinic system.
β’ Arrange and pre-register patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and additional engagements.
β’ Verify patient details, including demographic and insurance information.
β’ Provide patients with information regarding procedure preparations, appropriate attire requirements, and specific instructions.
β’ Prioritize tasks to ensure optimal reimbursement while minimizing financial risks for both the patient and the clinic.
β’ Direct self-pay patients to financial counseling services.
β’ Manage patient encounters using various system applications, including scheduling software, clinical operating systems, eligibility verification systems, medical necessity tools, and a document scanning repository.
β’ High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
β’ Minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service.
β’ Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and billing practices.
β’ Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
β’ Candidates must reside in Colorado for this remote position.
