This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Respond to incoming customer inquiries related to their electric and gas services.
• Educate customers about billing specifics, including charges, payment options, and available assistance programs.
• Deliver accurate information and solutions to customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Aim for first call resolution with every customer interaction.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional services or upgrades that meet customer needs.
• Assist customers with managing their accounts, including updates to personal information and services.
• Record customer interactions in the call tracking system.
• Handle all customer calls, regardless of their complexity, in a courteous and professional manner.
• Exhibit the ability to perform under pressure while striving to meet deadlines and performance targets.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is essential.
• At least 1 year of call center experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• A natural talent for empathizing with customers.
• Ability to project and convey a positive, caring, and professional demeanor to customers.
• Adaptability and the capacity to swiftly adjust to changes are necessary.
• Must efficiently and effectively conduct research while adhering to specific time constraints.
• Compliance with policies and procedures is required.
• Adherence to work schedules and punctuality standards is essential.
• Proficiency in typing quickly and accurately, effective use of a mouse, and a basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems is necessary.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling customer information.
• Must be capable of providing quality customer service and managing challenging customers while upholding a strict level of professionalism.
