Customer Identity Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Technical Anchor to design, engineer, develop, deploy, and maintain Azure AD B2C and EEID software and platform functionalities.

• Support tactical and strategic IAM solutions through analysis, design, and implementation to enhance security posture.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of IAM strategies and roadmaps.

• Create and uphold metric dashboards along with monitoring and alerting systems.

• Provide daily operational support for requests, incidents, and problems.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for teams and integrating applications.

• Employ Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software punctually and within budget.

• Utilize software delivery pipelines to automate deployment and testing processes.

• Maintain and update Ford custom policies using the Identity Experience Framework.

• Update the UI visual presentation of user journeys in accordance with specifications from the Ford UI Design Team.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C#, .NET Core, or other relevant languages while integrating with Azure Graph APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience.

• 3 to 5 years of experience with IAM principles, multi-factor authentication, and conditional access.

• Proven experience collaborating with globally dispersed and diverse teams.

• Experience in designing, engineering, developing, deploying, and supporting features for a large, complex enterprise organization.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to explain intricate technical concepts to team members, business partners, and senior management.

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate directly with business owners and application teams for information gathering and troubleshooting.

• Capacity to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, challenge the status quo, and navigate ambiguity.

• 1 to 2 years of experience with Azure AD B2C or Microsoft Entra External ID (EEID).

• Familiarity with Application Insights, Log Analytics, Azure App Services, and Azure API Management.

• Experience with development enablement tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Postman.

• Proficient in PowerShell.

• Willingness to support 24/7 rotational on-call coverage.

• Preferred: 3–5 years of experience managing Azure AD B2C.

• Preferred: 2–5 years of experience with PowerShell, C#, .NET Core, or other relevant programming languages.

• Preferred: Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles.
