This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Provide assistance to members, beneficiaries, or providers regarding routine service inquiries.
• Address and resolve routine service inquiries for members, beneficiaries, or providers.
• Ensure compliance with all HIPAA, State, and Federal regulations and requirements.
• Conduct research, follow up, and resolve all outstanding issues promptly.
• Enhance member or provider relationships by delivering exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all policies and procedures.
• Follow all departmental and company guidelines and protocols.
• Keep comprehensive and accurate records of all communications.
• Serve as a mentor for newly hired employees.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in a call center environment is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and listening abilities.
• Skills in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in computer usage with a strong understanding of a Windows environment.
• A typing speed of at least 35 words per minute (WPM).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
• Professional phone etiquette and proper grammar usage.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability to an ever-changing work environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
