This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Deliver exceptional customer service within the KanCare Contact Center.
• Collect comprehensive documentation and input data into various systems.
• Address inquiries regarding the eligibility process and provide general information about Family Medical and E&D/LTC Programs.
• Handle calls with courtesy, accuracy, and clarity.
• Ensure high-quality customer service while emphasizing the precision of the information given.
• Assess information obtained during phone interactions, pose relevant follow-up questions, request additional details, and gauge the potential consequences of the information shared.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary education is preferred.
• A minimum of six (6) months of experience in customer service.
• At least six (6) months of experience in Family Medical Medicaid eligibility is preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and managed care programs is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English with the capability to speak and read both languages fluently is preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency with the ability to navigate complex software systems is preferred.
• Experience with MS Office, Outlook, and internet usage is preferred.
• Excellent data entry skills with the ability to accurately type 30 words per minute is preferred.

• Paid time off begins to accrue after 180 days (approximately 6 months) of employment.
