Curriculum Content Builder – Unit 1 & 2 Physical Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Design and execute various teaching programs or courses of study;

• Proficient in utilizing ICT learning platforms, particularly Canvas;

• Possess the subject matter expertise and pedagogical skills to engage students in online learning;

• Show dedication to enhancing professional practice through coaching and development opportunities;

• Ensure a child-safe environment in compliance with child-safe standards;

• Take part in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school, adhering to the school’s child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;

• Act in alignment with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;

• Identify and report concerns regarding child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools;

• Make sure students’ opinions are valued and their voices are heard regarding decisions that impact their lives;

• Exemplify and advocate for the school’s vision and values;

• Instruct a segment of the curriculum for senior year levels and create online VCE courses for delivery;

• Keep records of class attendance and monitor student progress;

• Implement effective student management practices in line with the school’s strategic plan;

• Attend and engage in staff meetings as necessary;

• Actively participate in regular staff devotions and prayer.

• Develop high-quality online curriculum for VCE Units, adhering to the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) subject-specific study design and project build specifications.

• Create clear and engaging learning materials that assist students in grasping key concepts, practicing skills, and preparing for assessments.

• Utilize strong subject knowledge and curriculum judgment to appropriately sequence learning across the relevant VCE Unit.

• Develop assessment and learning resources, including filmed lessons, that align with the school’s VCE expectations and promote consistent online delivery.

• Confidently employ digital learning tools to prepare and organize course materials, including Google Suite and Canvas as needed.

• Collaborate with ACC Victoria Online staff, responding to feedback and making adjustments to ensure curriculum quality and consistency.

• Manage agreed timelines and deliverables with a high degree of organization, accuracy, and professional communication.

• Exemplify and promote the school’s vision and values, emphasizing a commitment to child safety, student wellbeing, and confidentiality.

• Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT);
