This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Design and execute various teaching programs or courses of study;
• Proficient in utilizing ICT learning platforms, specifically Canvas;
• Possess the subject matter expertise and teaching strategies to engage students in online education;
• Show dedication to enhancing professional skills through coaching and ongoing development;
• Ensure a child-safe environment in compliance with child-safe standards;
• Participate in child safety and wellbeing orientation and training provided by the school, adhering to the school's child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;
• Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;
• Recognize and report child safety concerns following our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including adhering to the Four Critical Actions for Schools;
• Ensure that students' perspectives are valued and considered in decisions impacting their lives;
• Exemplify and advocate for the school's vision and values;
• Instruct a specific area of the curriculum at senior year levels and create online VCE courses for delivery;
• Keep accurate records of class attendance and track student progress;
• Implement effective student management strategies aligned with the school's strategic plan;
• Attend and engage in staff meetings as necessary;
• Actively participate in regular staff devotions and prayer.
• Develop superior online curriculum for VCE Units, consistent with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) subject-specific study designs and project build specifications.
• Create clear and engaging learning materials that help students grasp key concepts, practice skills, and prepare for assessments.
• Utilize strong subject knowledge and curriculum judgment to appropriately sequence learning throughout the relevant VCE Unit.
• Produce assessment and learning resources, including recorded lessons, that align with the school's VCE expectations and facilitate consistent online delivery.
• Use digital learning tools proficiently to prepare and organize course materials, including Google Suite and Canvas as necessary.
• Collaborate with ACC Victoria Online staff, responding to feedback and making adjustments to ensure curriculum quality and consistency.
• Manage agreed timelines and deliverables with exceptional organization, accuracy, and professional communication.
• Exemplify and promote the school's vision and values, including a commitment to child safety, student wellbeing, and confidentiality.
• Proof of the right to work in Australia;
• Verification of identity;
• Recognized teaching qualification;
• Clearance status of the Working with Children Check (if applicable);
• Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT);
• Statements of service from previous roles involving children;
• References from prior child-connected positions;
• Must be a dedicated Christian, comfortable sharing your faith;
• Commitment to enhancing student academic outcomes;
• Maintain high expectations for students' academic and behavioral capabilities;
• Build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents;

• Strong understanding of VCE curriculum, assessment, and VCAA requirements specific to your subject area;
• Confidence in learning and utilizing digital learning platforms, particularly Canvas and Google Suite.
