CSA Estimator – Data Center Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold cost plans and detailed estimates from initial concept through to detailed design across various regions.

• Engage in estimate reviews with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Generate milestone cost updates and articulate the basis of estimates, including assumptions, inclusions/exclusions, and associated risks.

• Conduct quantity takeoffs and cost verifications for civil, structural, and architectural scopes.

• Assist in program-level estimating by collecting and analyzing cost data across multiple projects and campuses.

• Review contractor pricing, bids, payment applications, and change orders.

• Contribute to benchmarking, cost modeling, historical cost data, and life-cycle cost assessments.

• Aid in value engineering initiatives, feasibility studies, and early-stage cost modeling.

• Support procurement and preconstruction activities, including prequalification, bid analysis, tender reporting, and contract documentation.

• Collaborate with cost management, procurement, and project controls teams.

• Assess design modifications and prepare updates to estimates.

• Help develop estimating templates, tools, and best practices.

• Create cost and estimating reports along with presentation materials.

• Comply with SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a similar construction field.

• At least 3–5 years of pertinent experience.

• Background in construction cost management as a Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, or Project Controls professional.

• Experience in supporting conceptual estimating and/or preconstruction services.

• Involvement in large-scale construction projects is preferred.

• Experience with data centers, mission-critical, industrial, or commercial projects is advantageous.

• Familiarity with value management and value engineering.

• Proficient in estimating systems, quantity takeoffs, and cost analysis.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities and working effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Must be physically located in the United States.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
