
CSA Estimator β Data Center Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Create and uphold cost plans and detailed estimates from initial concept through to detailed design across various regions.
β’ Engage in estimate reviews with both internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Generate milestone cost updates and articulate the basis of estimates, including assumptions, inclusions/exclusions, and associated risks.
β’ Conduct quantity takeoffs and cost verifications for civil, structural, and architectural scopes.
β’ Assist in program-level estimating by collecting and analyzing cost data across multiple projects and campuses.
β’ Review contractor pricing, bids, payment applications, and change orders.
β’ Contribute to benchmarking, cost modeling, historical cost data, and life-cycle cost assessments.
β’ Aid in value engineering initiatives, feasibility studies, and early-stage cost modeling.
β’ Support procurement and preconstruction activities, including prequalification, bid analysis, tender reporting, and contract documentation.
β’ Collaborate with cost management, procurement, and project controls teams.
β’ Assess design modifications and prepare updates to estimates.
β’ Help develop estimating templates, tools, and best practices.
β’ Create cost and estimating reports along with presentation materials.
β’ Comply with SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a similar construction field.
β’ At least 3β5 years of pertinent experience.
β’ Background in construction cost management as a Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, or Project Controls professional.
β’ Experience in supporting conceptual estimating and/or preconstruction services.
β’ Involvement in large-scale construction projects is preferred.
β’ Experience with data centers, mission-critical, industrial, or commercial projects is advantageous.
β’ Familiarity with value management and value engineering.
β’ Proficient in estimating systems, quantity takeoffs, and cost analysis.
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
β’ Capable of managing multiple priorities and working effectively within cross-functional teams.
β’ Must be physically located in the United States.
β’ Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
