This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop and assess credit policies, ensuring alignment with business guidelines and regulatory requirements;
• Define, implement, and oversee internal policies and procedures, ensuring they remain current and compliant with regulations;
• Act as the liaison among Credit Origination/Underwriting, Monitoring, Collections/Recovery, and Product teams, ensuring policy and process integration and consistency;
• Lead initiatives within the credit domain;
• Work alongside the Data team to conduct statistical analyses aimed at enhancing credit policies;
• Prepare studies and analyze data, recommending modifications and adjustments to credit indicators and processes;
• Assess the credit portfolio, evaluating deterioration risk and interpreting data from credit bureaus and the SCR (credit information system);
• Review and recalibrate models and variables within the credit engine;
• Assess the effectiveness of credit modeling and rule performance;
• Monitor and suggest risk indicators for credit products, ensuring efficient risk management and regulatory adherence;
• Present reports and analyses regarding credit engine performance, offering strategic insights for decision-making;
• Identify and assess new solutions and technologies in credit management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Financial Mathematics, Economics, or related disciplines;
• Postgraduate degree (e.g., specialization or master's) in Data Analytics, Finance, Credit and Collections, Economics, or similar fields;
• Experience in the financial sector (fintechs, payments industry, and other financial institutions) with an emphasis on credit products and policies;
• Professional experience utilizing BI tools (Metabase, Power BI, Excel, among others) to generate reports and dashboards;
• Familiarity with credit metrics and KPIs;
• Proficient in SQL and Python;
• Experience with credit-related regulatory requirements (CMN, Central Bank of Brazil, and audits);
• Knowledgeable in Statistics.
