This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Work collaboratively with Practice Managers, Staffing Account Managers, and other internal stakeholders at Sound Physicians to facilitate clinician credentialing workflows.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest knowledge and documentation of specific processes and nuances associated with the portfolio you support.
• Offer guidance and respond to inquiries regarding clinician credentialing.
• Enhance and develop modern processes and workflows to ensure an exceptional clinician experience.
• Deliver Tier 1 technical support for Sound Practice Managers concerning the clinician credentialing platform.
• Oversee role-based access, communication, and training related to the credentialing platform for Practice Managers within your portfolio.
• Conduct monthly audits of credentialing files to ensure compliance with controls and guidelines in the clinician credentialing process.
• Leverage data, analytics, and reporting to assist practice leader stakeholders and inform decision-making.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; or at least 4+ years of directly related experience in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in the health services industry, with hands-on involvement in acquiring medical licenses, hospital privileging, or working in a Medical Staff Office or Verification services.
• Comprehensive understanding of the complete clinician credentialing process, including risk assessments, procedures for state licensure, primary source verifications, hospital privileging, and payer enrollment.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Strong analytical skills for data validation and the ability to perform ad hoc analyses efficiently.
