This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Perform an 8.5-hour shift scheduled between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST, with the specific hours based on business requirements.
• Engage in telephone communications while upholding exceptional customer service standards.
• Respond to release-of-information inquiries via phone accurately and promptly.
• Review, investigate, resolve, and reply to inquiries received through telephone, email, or written correspondence.
• Record all calls, inquiries, and resolutions in the appropriate software systems.
• Adhere to department- and site-specific processes and procedures.
• Achieve and sustain productivity and quality assurance standards.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding information encountered in the role.
• Exhibit professionalism and build rapport with colleagues and management.
• Timely communicate any issues, complaints, and incidents to staff and management.
• Execute tasks according to the training and guidance provided, while following facility-specific protocols.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions as instructed.
• Maintain satisfactory attendance and report to work as scheduled.
• Carry out other assigned duties as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent certification from a state-recognized accredited institution.
• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner.
• Possess strong customer service abilities.
• Experience with a multi-line phone system is essential.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, particularly with MS Office.
• One year of relevant experience is advantageous.
• Background in data entry, medical records, healthcare, insurance claims processing, and document proofreading/editing is a plus.
• Ability to remain organized while working efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail is necessary.
• Successful completion of an annual Introductory HIPAA examination is required.
• Must pass a 90-day ROI Certification course with a minimum score of 85%.
• Ability to meet post-offer health screening and vaccination requirements where applicable.
