This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Conduct 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions daily utilizing a structured, evidence-based curriculum.
• Guide group discussions employing a “plug and play” strategy from approved modalities to effectively support members within the framework of our clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches to ensure comprehensive member support.
• Track member progress and document outcomes systematically.
• Foster a positive, recovery-oriented atmosphere for all members.
• Participate in local community outreach initiatives to advocate for the mission of Groups.
• A Master’s degree is essential.
• Preferred qualifications include active behavioral health licensure such as ADC, AADC, LPC, LICSW, and associate level status with the capacity and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states.
• A minimum of two years of experience leading groups in a substance use disorder (SUD) setting is required.
• High proficiency with technology, including EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile applications, etc.
• A strong sense of compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and a dedication to member success.
• Availability to work 2-3 evenings per week until 9 PM as needed.
• Additional preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
