Counselor 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Deliver the highest standard of consultation to ecclesiastical leaders.

• Oversee counseling services.

• Develop and refer community resources.

• Provide support to other staff members.

• Maintain a professional and private office environment and/or offer teletherapy services.

• Act as a regional specialist, engage in regional training sessions, and participate in headquarters committees, among other responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related field that qualifies for clinical licensure.

• A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience post-master's, including at least two (2) years of experience after independent licensure.

• One year of post-independent licensure experience may be substituted by NOJOS and DOC Credentialing for the Sensitive Cases Team.

• Possess advanced clinical skills and be open to constructive feedback.

• Proficient in facilitating skills/treatment groups.

• Capable of providing clinical supervision to other team members, including those seeking clinical licensure.

• Demonstrate professionalism with a keen focus on quality and timely documentation, consultations, and terminations.

• Possess refined consultation abilities.

• Complete assignments as directed by agency and regional managers, which may include serving as a regional specialist, participating in regional training, and engaging in headquarters committees, among other tasks.

• Hold and maintain a current independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or similar clinical licensure).

• May require state licensure across multiple states, depending on the service area.

• Licensure requirements for international positions will differ by country.

• Regular interactions and consultations will include Bishops, Stake Presidents, Mission Presidents, and General Authorities.

• The focus will be on therapy with minimal to no case management.

• Administration of support programs such as Addiction Recovery.
