
Counsellor – Psychologist, Crisis Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Deliver one-on-one telehealth or onsite mental health support for clients of Intellect.
• Manage a variety of clinical cases, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and more.
• Collaborate with our internal clinical team to enhance the platform and client programs.
• Provide the Critical Incident Stress Programme (CISP) virtually or onsite when required.
• Qualifications: Master's degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology.
• Proficient in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or other evidence-based methods (such as Motivational Interviewing, DBT, SFBT) and CISP (Critical Incident Stress Program).
• License: Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
• Experience: At least 300 clinical hours following the master's degree.
• Experience with trauma-related cases in psychiatric hospitals, mental health clinics, or similar environments.
• Languages: Proficient in both English and Afrikaans.
• Preferred Background: Previous experience with Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), adult counseling, or managerial coaching roles.
