Corporate Systems Specialist – SAP TM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and advancement of transportation system solutions (TMS, control tower, logistics integrations), ensuring alignment with business operations and corporate architecture;

• Collaborate with a comprehensive view of the value chain (order → billing → shipping → transportation → delivery → finance), ensuring data consistency, process integration, and connectivity between ERP, WMS, TMS, tax systems, and satellite platforms;

• Analyze, review, and suggest enhancements to transportation processes, guaranteeing operational efficiency, traceability, tax compliance (CT-e, MDF-e), and scalability of operations;

• Prioritize requests alongside business, product, and technology teams, balancing value, complexity, risks, and execution capacity;

• Ensure the proper design and functioning of integrations between systems (SAP, TMS, WMS, OMS, tax, BI), with an emphasis on reliability, performance, and data governance;

• Provide technical management of suppliers (e.g., TMS, tracking, freight audit), assessing product development, SLAs, backlog, and compliance with Arco’s standards;

• Establish and track operational and system KPIs (delivery SLA, tracking, freight audit, logistics cost), utilizing data for prioritization and ongoing improvement;

• Proactively identify systemic and operational risks, ensuring mitigation strategies, quality of deliverables (integrated testing, cutover, go-live), and post-deployment stability;

• Actively engage in strategic initiatives (e.g., ERP/TMS implementation or upgrade), contributing a technical viewpoint, architectural insights, and cross-team alignment;

• Serve as a liaison between business and technology, influencing decisions, promoting stakeholder alignment, and ensuring effective communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with enterprise supply chain systems, specifically focused on transportation and distribution;

• In-depth understanding of logistics processes: transport planning, execution, tracking, freight audit, and incident management;

• Familiarity with commercial TMS solutions and their integration with ERP (preferably SAP) and WMS;

• Strong grasp of logistics tax concepts (CT-e, MDF-e, delivery receipt/canhoto, transport compliance);

• Capable of designing complex solutions and assessing trade-offs;

• Experience with system integrations (APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures, distributed systems);

• Strong analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making;

• Experience in vendor management and commercial solutions;

• Ability to navigate complex environments with multiple stakeholders and dependencies;

• Clear and structured communication with strong persuasion skills;

• A strong sense of ownership, critical thinking capabilities, and a proactive approach.
