This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Draft, negotiate, and finalize a variety of commercial agreements, such as customer contracts, vendor and supplier agreements, NDAs, licensing, and partnership arrangements.
• Offer actionable legal guidance on contract interpretation, compliance responsibilities, and strategies for risk reduction.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Engineering teams to enhance deal structuring and improve contracting efficiency.
• Create and maintain standard contract templates, playbooks, and contracting workflows to optimize processes and ensure uniformity.
• Recognize legal and business risks in contractual relationships and suggest innovative, practical solutions to reduce exposure.
• Ensure compliance with applicable data protection, export control, and other relevant regulatory frameworks in international transactions.
• Oversee or assist in the resolution of contract-related disputes and escalations.
• Assist with additional corporate legal matters as required, including governance, compliance, and operational legal initiatives.
• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (or an equivalent international credential for global candidates).
• 6+ years of experience as a transactional or corporate attorney, ideally possessing both law firm and in-house experience.
• Significant experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and technology contracts.
• Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, data center operations, cloud, or SaaS business models is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and written communication abilities.
• Business-oriented perspective with the capacity to balance legal prudence with commercial adaptability.
• Experience with cross-border contracts or international legal frameworks is a plus.
