Core Developer – Node

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Create and establish the fundamental node infrastructure that supports the Polkadot network and the various teams developing applications on it.

• Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams, witnessing the direct impact of your contributions.

• Engage in networking, synchronization, and tooling efforts that ensure the network remains swift, dependable, and robust.

• Ability to work independently and tackle challenges with minimal supervision.

• Foster collaboration within an open-source environment and effectively participate in peer review both as a reviewer and a reviewee.

• Have a solid grasp of system design and the capability to navigate complex systems.

• Demonstrate ownership of your work and accountability for the results.

• Exhibit strong communication skills, presenting work clearly in “plain English” through blog posts or at conferences.
