Conversational AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and Development: Architect and implement conversational AI systems utilizing platforms such as Whisper, VAPI, OpenAI, and other relevant frameworks.

• Prompt Engineering: Create and refine prompts to enhance AI model performance, ensuring responses are natural, accurate, and context-aware.

• System Integration: Integrate conversational AI solutions with third-party systems, APIs, and services (e.g., CRMs, messaging platforms, or enterprise tools).

• Automated Testing: Develop and implement frameworks for automated testing to guarantee the reliability, performance, and accuracy of conversational AI systems.

• Model Optimization: Fine-tune AI models to improve the quality of responses, decrease latency, and enhance user experience.

• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and software engineers to align AI capabilities with business and user requirements.

• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates to uphold high-quality conversational experiences.

• Documentation: Produce comprehensive technical documentation for AI systems, integrations, and testing processes.

• Stay Current: Remain informed about advancements in conversational AI, NLP, and related technologies to foster innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in conversational AI, NLP, or related disciplines.

• Proven expertise with platforms such as Whisper, VAPI, OpenAI, or similar conversational AI frameworks.

• Strong background in prompt engineering for large language models (LLMs).

• Practical experience integrating third-party systems and APIs into AI solutions.

• Demonstrated capability to implement automated testing frameworks for AI systems.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for deploying AI solutions.

• Knowledge of NLP libraries and frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face, spaCy, or NLTK).

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and real-time communication protocols.

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with voice-based AI systems and speech-to-text/text-to-speech technologies.
