This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee comprehensive contract administration for construction projects in Australia and New Zealand.
• Draft, assess, and manage subcontractor agreements along with tender documentation.
• Coordinate and assess tender submissions, which includes preparing tender comparisons and recommendations.
• Generate and process progress claims, payment schedules, and variations for subcontractors.
• Track contract compliance, key milestones, and essential project deadlines.
• Ensure precise maintenance of contract records, documentation, and filing systems (both digital and/or physical).
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless project delivery.
• Aid in the preparation of scopes of work based on drawings, specifications, and budget considerations.
• Assist in resolving contract-related issues, inquiries, and disputes.
• 1 - 3 years of experience as a Contract Administrator, Contracts Coordinator, or in a similar role within the construction sector, specifically in Australia or New Zealand.
• Project Tools: Advanced skills in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
• Office Suite: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Logic: Strong comprehension of construction sequencing, trade scopes, and financial "take-offs."
• Communication: Excellent written English skills for composing formal contractual correspondence.
• Nice to Have
• Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with Australian Standard (AS) Contracts and basic contract law principles, or New Zealand Standard (NZS) contracts and requirements.
• Regulatory Awareness: Knowledge of the Security of Payment Act (SOPA) or relevant New Zealand construction payment legislation, as well as the Building Code of Australia (BCA) or New Zealand Building Code (NZBC).
• Software: Prior experience with CHEOPS, Aconex, or similar construction ERP systems utilized in Australia or New Zealand.
