This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Provide a compelling viewpoint on the elements that captivate viewers in video content, focusing on scripting techniques, editing and pacing strategies, and visual organization.
• Assist in the creation of video content for Study.com and marketing platforms, placing a strong emphasis on enhancing engagement and discoverability for YouTube and TikTok.
• Onboard, oversee, and assist a team of freelance video creators and editors to ensure the production of high-quality and efficient videos.
• Monitor production rates, pinpoint project bottlenecks, and resolve obstacles to achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives.
• Write, edit, and revise standard operating procedures to promote operational efficiency across video projects.
• Evaluate video performance and integrate insights to refine scripting and editing processes to boost social engagement rates, including formats influenced by successful content beyond traditional educational themes (e.g., listicles, explainers, visual essays, and "study with me" formats).
• Offer continuous feedback, guidance, and performance assessment to aid in the content strategy.
• Utilize performance data to recognize effective video formats, and continually enhance our strategy through insight-led ideation.
• Employ AI and technological tools to optimize production (Claude desktop, Langflow, etc.) and elevate video quality using AI-based video tools (HeyGen, Elevenlabs, etc).
• 2–3 years of experience in video production with a solid grasp of project management, social media marketing, and the dynamics of the YouTube and TikTok ecosystems.
• Exceptional project management and communication abilities, capable of tracking multiple content production streams, managing freelancer relationships, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A portfolio showcasing social media videos produced or YouTube/TikTok channels that have been managed or contributed to.
• Proficient in creating video titles following SEO best practices, scripting, storyboarding, producing videos, and working collaboratively with editors.
• Data-oriented and comfortable making recommendations based on performance insights to enhance video engagement and viewer retention.
• Adept at sourcing and guiding freelance video content creators and editors to generate engaging, platform-optimized content.
