Content & Social Media Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Transform concepts and briefs into polished content for various social platforms: X posts and threads, LinkedIn articles, short-form video scripts and edits, as well as visuals.

• Manage the publishing calendar, ensuring a steady rhythm across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube/TikTok (with potential expansion to more channels as we grow).

• Edit short-form videos: including explainers, launch materials, and memes. Proficiency in Premiere, CapCut, or your preferred editing tool is required.

• Adapt content: take a compelling idea and tailor it specifically for different platforms.

• Engage with our audience: respond to and contribute value to discussions and communities where our target audience interacts.

• Monitor: Maintain an active awareness of relevant communities, trending topics, and the cultural context surrounding Wisp.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-6 years of practical experience in content creation within the tech, AI, web3, or related fields.

• A portfolio showcasing completed work - including posts, threads, and videos that can be referenced.

• A content-focused mindset with a keen understanding of platform-specific voice - you recognize that an X thread and a LinkedIn post about the same concept should be distinctly different.

• Proficient in short-form video editing, with examples available for review.

• Self-directed - you can take a brief, ask pertinent questions, and deliver results.

• Comfortable with technical topics - while you don’t need to be an engineer, you should be able to communicate concepts like encryption and confidential computing in an engaging and clear manner.
