Content Protection Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Evaluating and analyzing UMG content utilizing a range of internal and external technologies.

• Review and assess online usage of UMG's digital and physical assets (including publishing) to identify any infringements of our rights.

• Address inquiries from our internal business units and labels, including those that are Spanish-speaking.

• Collaborate with our international trade groups to uphold our rights.

• Keep informed about digital trends related to the recording industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-1+ years of professional experience in the Music industry, Digital Media, Entertainment, Technology, or related fields.

• Preference for candidates familiar with anti-piracy, copyright, or trademarks.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Highly organized with a proven track record of attention to detail.

• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong understanding of digital technologies, particularly music platforms and mobile applications.

• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to follow through and execute tasks effectively.

• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

• A genuine passion for music and digital music platforms.

• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of Office 365, particularly Excel.

• Experience in handling large datasets and/or databases, including proficiency in SQL.

• Strong presentation skills (e.g., PowerPoint) with a willingness to speak publicly to peers and senior management.
