Content and Design Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Develop captivating, high-performing short-form social media content (reels, carousels, static posts, short videos).

• Transform rough briefs into refined, platform-optimized content.

• Create visually striking static assets in accordance with brand guidelines.

• Assist in shaping social media strategy, content planning, and campaign brainstorming.

• Operate across a variety of platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).

• Aid in content and design for websites/landing pages when necessary (beneficial, not essential).

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong social-first mindset with an understanding of trends, hooks, engagement mechanics, and attention-grabbing techniques.

• Ability to work swiftly and effectively in fast-paced environments.

• Demonstrated design proficiency (Adobe, Canva, Figma or similar).

• Experience in producing short-form video content for social media platforms.

• Comfortable working from rough briefs with minimal supervision.

• Exhibits creative independence and a strong sense of ownership.

• Experience with **events, fitness, sports, community, or experiential brands.**

• Skills in motion graphics or light animation.

• Knowledge of platform-specific best practices (Reels, Stories, feed posts, etc.).
