This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Provide expertise and knowledge in compensation consulting methodologies for both executive and staff projects.
• Oversee the contributions of junior team members on client assignments and project teams to guarantee efficient planning, organization, and management of strategic initiatives.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of the nonprofit sector.
• Engage in all facets of client projects, taking charge of multiple compensation consulting initiatives.
• Aid in identifying follow-up opportunities or new leads, as well as drafting project proposals and statements of work.
• Transform complex data and information into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Create, organize, and present reports, presentations, and various client deliverables.
• Cultivate client relationships through effective communication methods (including face-to-face interactions, phone calls, video conferencing, and emails) and act as a collaborative thought partner to client teams.
• Offer leadership, analytical support, and creativity for technical tasks, which are essential to the success of our client engagement teams and our practice.
• Drive the growth of the compensation consulting and client services business by leading and developing consulting resources in areas such as compensation analysis, technical training, planning, forecasting, and compensation market assessments.
• Assist in managing complex projects within set budgets while consistently monitoring the quality of the client experience.
• Build subject matter expertise and proactively share knowledge, tools, processes, and methodologies established by the firm, while effectively guiding junior associates in more intricate research, data collection, and compensation analytics.
• Contribute to team productivity by prioritizing tasks and demonstrating strong attention to detail, productivity, and high efficiency to meet client project deadlines.
• Keep the client relationship manager informed about project status, including any delays or potential issues, and hold yourself and team members accountable for client deadlines and deliverables.
• Attend client meetings as needed and anticipate client needs and inquiries.
• Develop and implement tools, work product templates, processes, and methodologies that enhance productivity and quality.
• Actively engage in workflow and client delivery meetings with a collaborative spirit.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least ten years of executive and staff compensation consulting experience, or a minimum of fifteen years of related compensation analytical experience, which includes data evaluation, financial modeling, and presentation design in the context of compensation consulting.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• A commitment to assisting organizations in tackling complex compensation challenges.
• Proficient in problem-solving and critical thinking, with the ability to:
• Recognize patterns in intricate data sets and develop practical models.
• Analyze and interpret data employing both basic and advanced modeling techniques.
• Anticipate challenges, propose alternative solutions, and eliminate barriers that hinder project/team progress.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to:
• Foster open and effective communication channels with clients and within teams.
• Provide constructive feedback that aids associates in developing skills, gaining experience, and exploring growth opportunities.
• Manage client delivery project teams.
• Train and mentor junior colleagues.
• Present facts, analyses, and conclusions/solutions effectively, showcasing mastery of content while considering the perspectives and interests of the audience.
• Compose concise project communications, documents, and presentations with an appropriate level of technical detail and complexity.
