This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all services related to the AOCN (Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions Ordering and Coding Network) while ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
• Facilitate the ordering, maintenance, and lifecycle management of CLLI (Common Language Location Identifier) codes.
• Manage Local Number Portability (LNP) activities, coordinating efforts with carriers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Supervise updates to Tariff 4, ensuring prompt implementation of any changes that affect network operations and interconnections.
• Direct the telephone number porting processes to guarantee accuracy, compliance with regulations, and satisfaction of customers.
• Prepare, submit, and maintain FCC Form 502 filings along with other necessary telecommunications regulatory documentation.
• Act as the organization’s representative at CIGGR (Common Interest Group on Generic Requirements) meetings, conveying pertinent industry information.
• Engage in INC (Industry Numbering Committee) meetings to observe and contribute to the establishment of numbering standards and best practices.
• Attend and actively engage in NPIF (Number Portability Industry Forum) meetings to remain updated on LNP standards, policy modifications, and implementation guidelines.
• Function as the organization's point of contact with industry associations, regulatory agencies, and telecommunications service providers.
• Keep track of changes in telecommunications regulations, numbering policies, and industry standards, suggesting operational adjustments as necessary.
• Create and uphold documentation, procedures, and compliance records pertaining to numbering resources and regulatory tasks.
• Partner with internal teams in engineering, operations, legal, and regulatory sectors to enhance network growth and compliance initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience in telecommunications numbering or regulatory services.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in telephone numbering administration, local number portability, or telecom regulatory compliance; prior consulting experience is highly preferred.
• Proven expertise in LERG, BIRRDS, CLLI codes, NECA databases, NPAC, and SOA/porting systems.
• Experience in preparing and filing FCC regulatory forms (e.g., Form 502/NRUF) on behalf of clients.
• Understanding of industry forums such as CIGGR, INC, and NPIF (previously known as LNPA).
• Strong communication skills when interacting with clients, with the ability to articulate complex regulatory and technical subjects clearly.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple client accounts and deadlines independently.
