
Consultant II – Epic Revenue Cycle – Healthcare Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the configuration and enhancement of Epic revenue cycle applications across front-end, middle, and back-end operations.
• Engage in Epic implementation or optimization initiatives as a member of a project team.
• Support the analysis of current workflows and contribute to recommendations for system-enabled improvements.
• Construct, test, and validate Epic functionalities, including Patient Access, HIM, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Resolute applications.
• Aid in the creation and delivery of training materials and sessions for end-users.
• Record workflows, system configurations, and project documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with project team members, client stakeholders, and technical resources.
• Provide assistance during go-live events, including tracking and resolving issues.
• Help identify system or workflow challenges and escalate them as necessary.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and the documentation of best practices.
• A minimum of an Associate's degree is required (preferably in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems, or a related field).
• At least 2 years of practical experience in the Epic revenue cycle.
• Experience supporting revenue cycle functions throughout the entire continuum, with a focus on back-end operations (billing, collections, denials).
• Participation in at least one Epic implementation or significant optimization project.
• Experience in a consulting, analyst, or operational support role.
• Familiarity with Epic revenue cycle applications.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle workflows, reimbursement models, and regulatory compliance.
• Capability to analyze, configure, and enhance workflows and system settings.
• Experience with reporting, analytics, or performance monitoring within the Epic system.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, based on client and project requirements.
