Consultant – Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain web applications utilizing backend technologies.

• Take the lead and assume full ownership of projects from inception to completion.

• Create responsive front-end user interfaces using JavaScript/React.

• Write complex SQL queries and manage relational databases, including data migrations.

• Design and construct APIs as part of the application frameworks.

• Implement and integrate Elasticsearch into current applications.

• Develop cloud-native applications on AWS.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of full stack development experience, demonstrating strong proficiency in both backend and frontend technologies.

• Capability to independently function as a sole development team member, taking full responsibility for projects from start to finish.

• Proficiency in crafting web applications using Python.

• Create responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces with modern JavaScript/React frameworks.

• Strong skills in writing complex SQL and stored procedures, as well as optimizing high-performance database queries.

• Extensive experience managing production relational databases (MySQL), including large-scale data migrations and schema management through code.

• Significant experience in API design and development.

• Practical experience in implementing Elasticsearch, establishing it from the ground up within an existing application.

• Experience in building cloud-native software applications on AWS.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of managing stakeholder expectations and conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical business users.

• Strong background in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

• Familiarity with automated test/build/deploy tools within a Python and React tech stack.
