Consultant, Ansible

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist clients in establishing scalable, efficiently managed enterprise technology infrastructures that are flexible to technological advancements through Red Hat solutions.

• Engage in continuous learning and development, adapting to new skills and technologies.

• Travel regularly (20-30 weeks annually) to collaborate with prominent customers in the financial services, retail, telecommunications, and institutional sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering implementations as part of a project team aligned with architectural designs.

• Clear demonstration of contributing to technical projects, including teamwork on project timelines and upkeep of project and technical documentation.

• Capability to comprehend stakeholder requirements and establish expectations regarding project timelines and scope of work.

• Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• A strong desire to mentor others.

• Foundational experience in using and configuring Linux systems, along with an understanding of configuration as code principles.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (YAML, Python, etc.).

• Intermediate hands-on experience with automation technologies (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Powershell, etc.).

• Awareness of the benefits of automation in complex environments.

• Some familiarity with using or configuring cloud technologies, including container management and/or orchestration.
