This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Install storage, processing, and delivery equipment for products at customer locations.
• Set up cryogenic tanks, pumps, and piping for services involving liquid oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide.
• Initiate, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair systems for cryogenic and gaseous product storage.
• Coordinate the selection of equipment, cranes, transportation logistics, installation processes, startup support, contractor oversight, and customer training.
• Act as the lift supervisor for equipment lifts and placements using cranes.
• Conduct brazing, install piping, and perform pressure testing.
• Interpret engineering drawings, flow sheets, equipment layouts, piping diagrams, and electrical control schematics.
• Uphold high safety standards at customer sites and while operating the company vehicle.
• Adhere to safe rigging, lifting, and hand-tool practices.
• Accurately report material and labor costs.
• Assist in selecting equipment and materials, ensuring system startup and operational readiness, along with maintaining technical and commercial documentation.
• Engage with both internal and external customers.
• Provide ongoing maintenance support in the area as necessary.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• A trade, technical degree, or relevant apprenticeship is preferred but not mandatory.
• Military experience may be considered as an alternative to a trade or technical degree.
• Must be capable of passing a service/pickup truck road test and DOT physical.
• A good driving record is essential.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record are required.
• Class A CDL is preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency with all hand tools is necessary.
• Ability to repair and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical equipment is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Capability to read technical drawings is necessary.
• Computer skills for project management and daily tasks are important.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• A strong focus on safety is essential.
• Knowledge of safe rigging and lifting procedures is necessary.
• Experience in supervising crane contractors and acting as Lift Supervisor for crane lifts up to 600 Standard Tons is required.
• Skills in brazing and piping installation/pressure testing are necessary.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, flow sheets, equipment layouts, piping diagrams, and electrical control schematics is important.
• Basic project management skills are beneficial.
• Understanding the properties, behavior, and hazards of encountered products is crucial.
• Strong customer interface skills, both internal and external, are essential.
