Construction Safety Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• This position will support an Apex client in the area of occupational safety and health.

• The individual in this role will focus on preventing workplace injuries and risks by conducting checklist-based health and safety audits on building plans, structures under construction, and retrofitted facilities.

• The job will regularly involve a combination of on-site health and safety audits and remote desktop tasks.

• The incumbent will collaborate with client stakeholders, construction teams, developers, engineers, and building occupants to ensure that the client achieves a safe operational facility.

• Delivering health and safety compliance audits to the client.

• In partnership with Apex project managers, this role will coordinate and implement safety projects in accordance with established organizational procedures and standards.

• Provides updates to project managers, client relationship managers, or business development personnel regarding the status of the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is preferred – ideally in a safety or engineering discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience is required in a safety or engineering-related field.

• Experience in warehouse business environments is an advantage.

• Must possess a comprehensive understanding of occupational safety technical subject matter and its practical application.

• Highly knowledgeable about standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the occupational safety sector.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential.

• A strong degree of self-initiative is necessary.

• Proficient technical writing skills are required.

• Experience with data management and report preparation is necessary.

• A valid driver's license is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required.
