Configuration Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical and functional configuration for HCM modules during core implementations and client-specific transitions.

• Supervise a team of functional and technical consultants, overseeing assignments, quality assessments, and productivity.

• Take ownership of decisions regarding configuration versus customization, ensuring adherence to the goal of minimizing customization and ensuring future compatibility.

• Identify and manage risks related to timelines, quality, and technical results; escalate issues to the client's Project Manager along with recommended solutions.

• Organize release and deployment activities across a nine-environment landscape in accordance with approved change management protocols.

• Assist with agency-specific site surveys as part of mobile teams.

• Facilitate monthly status updates that include schedules, current status, risks, and issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.

• An active Public Trust level clearance is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree is required (or equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree).

• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 4 years in consulting or leadership roles.

• Proven experience in leading configuration teams during enterprise HCM or ERP implementations up to production go-live.

• Extensive functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.

• Experience in managing delivery to meet strict, externally imposed deadline requirements.

• Preferred: Experience with Federal HRIT or shared-service platforms.

• Preferred: Leadership experience in Agile delivery methodologies.

• Preferred: PMP certification.

• Preferred: A Master's degree.
