Component Manufacturing Implementation & Support Specialist – Truss Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of customer software, which includes creating and managing the implementation timeline and defining success metrics for customers.

• Serve as a bridge between the customer and our software product and development teams.

• Coordinate projects with our Design Services and Component Review Services teams.

• Offer continuous post-implementation support and training for ICS software systems.

• Collaborate with the sales team to conduct client needs assessments, providing guidance on our software's technical capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in the design and engineering of prefabricated metal plate connected wood trusses and/or engineered wood products (EWP).

• Familiarity with wood framed construction practices, associated building codes, and design standards is preferred.

• Ability to exercise sound business judgment.

• Capacity to demonstrate creativity and innovation in achieving both organizational and individual goals.

• Ability to balance analysis, wisdom, experience, and perspective in decision-making.

• Proficient in calculating figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

• Skilled in identifying solutions to problems and assessing their strengths and weaknesses.

• Ability to positively adapt to change, embracing new practices or values to achieve goals and address challenges.

• Capability to cultivate and maintain productive relationships with customers.

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and functions.

• Skilled in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with the agility to reallocate resources in response to evolving customer and team member needs.

• Proficient in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite, with working knowledge of SQL databases, and a basic understanding of computer networking, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
