This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Prepare increasingly intricate compliance tests and year-end packages.
• Evaluate plan eligibility criteria and identify eligible participants.
• Assess allocation conditions and compute requested contributions and forfeiture allocations.
• Execute ADP/ACP, 415 annual additions, 416 Top Heavy, and 410(b) coverage tests.
• Conduct self and peer reviews.
• Prepare, review, and publish Form 5500, Form 5330, Form 8955-SSA, and other regulatory documents.
• Reconcile Form 5500 and relevant schedules for large filer plans.
• Support Plan Consultants with auditor inquiries.
• Maintain understanding of moderate-complexity retirement plans and enhance knowledge of more complex plans.
• Investigate and resolve testing and Form 5500 issues.
• Collaborate with various departments as necessary.
• Assist and guide team members with intricate problems.
• Work alongside Managers to establish processes and apply best practices.
• Prepare asset reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare external asset and balance-forward earnings allocations along with participant validations.
• Draft plan documents, including Restatements, Amendments, SPDs, SMMs, and Notices.
• Aid with QDRO allocations and corrective earnings calculations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Associate's degree and over 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASPPA Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation is mandatory.
• Capability to read and interpret retirement adoption agreements, program manuals, and government instructions and guidance.
• Proficiency in writing reports and emails/correspondence.
• Ability to work effectively with employees throughout the company.
• Advanced mathematical skills, including fractions, percentages, and ratios.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Must have authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
