This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct key elements of the Corporate Compliance and Privacy Program.

• Design, execute, and continually enhance the compliance infrastructure, including policies, procedures, standards, controls, workflows, and monitoring activities.

• Manage the activities of the Compliance Committee, which includes setting agendas, preparing materials, documenting minutes, creating presentations, tracking action items, and maintaining records.

• Implement annual compliance work plans alongside strategic compliance initiatives.

• Spearhead cross-functional compliance projects and initiatives, exercising influence without direct authority.

• Analyze regulatory and compliance requirements, offering guidance to business leaders on obligations, risks, and strategies for mitigation.

• Establish, track, and report on KPIs, metrics, and the effectiveness of the compliance program.

• Oversee the compliance hotline and incident management systems.

• Manage the intake, evaluation, tracking, documentation, and resolution of compliance, ethics, and privacy issues.

• Assess, triage, and prioritize significant compliance and privacy incidents.

• Lead or coordinate intricate compliance investigations, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and the planning of corrective actions.

• Analyze data to monitor incident trends and emerging risks.

• Identify root causes and suggest corrective and preventive measures.

• Enhance incident management workflows, reporting tools, and process improvements.

• Create compliance training materials, educational resources, newsletters, communications, and awareness campaigns.

• Oversee the coordination of annual compliance training assignments, monitor completion, and report results.

• Manage sanctions screening, monitoring processes, compliance attestations, conflict-of-interest disclosures, certifications, and annual compliance obligations.

• Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics.

• Analyze compliance data to provide findings, trends, recommendations, and performance reports to leadership, committees, and governance bodies.

• Assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements.

• Act as a functional subject matter expert in specific compliance program areas.

• Offer functional guidance, coaching, and mentoring to analysts, coordinators, and business partners.

• Introduce workflow enhancements that promote efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability.

• Outstanding organizational, planning, project management, and coordination capabilities.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and sway stakeholders without direct authority.

• Capacity to independently evaluate compliance risks, exercise sound judgment, and make informed recommendations.

• Experience in supporting governance committees, leadership reporting, and compliance oversight.

• Strong knowledge of compliance investigations, incident management, corrective actions, and regulatory requirements.

• Proficiency in developing KPIs, dashboards, metrics, and measures of compliance program effectiveness.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

• Capability to interpret compliance requirements and convey complex concepts effectively.

• Ability to enhance, standardize, and scale operational processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational discipline.

• Familiarity with healthcare privacy incidents, compliance investigations, and regulatory environments is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Considerable relevant professional experience may substitute for a formal degree.

• A minimum of five years of experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, ethics, audit, quality, risk management, healthcare operations, or a related field is required.

• Experience in supporting or leading compliance programs, investigations, governance, risk management, or compliance education initiatives.

• Proven experience in independently managing compliance processes and acting as a subject matter expert.

• Experience in developing compliance metrics, dashboards, leadership reporting, and program effectiveness evaluations.

• Familiarity with coordinating compliance committees, governance functions, and executive reporting.

• Experience with incident management systems, sanctions screening, compliance education, case management platforms, or compliance monitoring is preferred.

• Relevant compliance certifications such as CHC, CCEP, CHCM, or CHPC are preferred.
