This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Investigate allegations related to compliance reported through the Ethics Action Line, Compliance Officer, Privacy Investigation Officer, Law Department, and other channels.
• Lead investigations that encompass interviews, standardized resolution strategies, remediation, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with the Compliance Officer, Facility Leadership, Privacy Investigations Officer, and Human Resources to propose corrective or disciplinary actions.
• Conduct closure meetings with department leads responsible for the investigations.
• Follow up with complainants and interviewees involved in the investigations.
• Ensure adherence to documentation standards in Compliance 360.
• Present investigation activities during quarterly compliance committee meetings.
• Offer professional support to senior leadership and enhance the effectiveness of Tenet’s Ethics and Compliance Program.
• Operate in a fast-paced setting while upholding program integrity.
• Support Tenet/USPI corporate operations based in Texas.
• Proven knowledge of Federal healthcare program regulations.
• Experience in investigation, clinical, legal, auditing, or other compliance-related fields.
• Exceptional writing and presentation abilities, characterized by clarity and persuasiveness.
• Strong organizational skills, with a focus on deadlines, attention to detail, and the capacity to perform under pressure.
• Experience with information systems and databases.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, presentation, and consensus-building skills.
• An energetic, results-driven leadership style.
• High standards of personal and professional integrity.
• Ability to thoughtfully assess reported concerns and effectively balance resolutions.
• Capacity to articulate and convey information credibly in both written and verbal formats.
• Skills in decision-making, coaching, monitoring, thoroughness, preparation, innovation, and creativity.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience as a Compliance Investigation Officer.
• Some travel may be necessary.
• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
• Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in healthcare compliance matters.
• Preferred: 5 years of investigative experience, ideally in healthcare or compliance.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience in a hospital setting.
