This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Create and execute initiatives that engage and teach new users as they start using OPA.
• Showcase outstanding contributions from community members.
• Collect community feedback to steer the project’s direction.
• Assess community growth, adoption of use cases, and more.
• Assist OPA maintainers by helping to triage and prioritize GitHub issues.
• Aid in troubleshooting and replicating bugs reported on GitHub and other platforms.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams.
• 3-5 years of experience in the cloud technology sector.
• At least 2 years in a technical position (e.g., development, QA, system administration, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in building communities with a focus on people rather than solely technology.
• A strong passion for enabling others to succeed.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in developing and managing web platforms.
• Background in developer advocacy or developer relations roles.
• Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem.
• Experience contributing to open source projects.
• Employees have the option to work remotely.
