Commissioning Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing and commissioning of Nextpower tracker installations

• Offer expertise in tracker controllers and assist with commissioning and ongoing maintenance

• Provide technical support to Nextpower clients globally

• Share product and system knowledge to enhance installation value and performance

• Oversee controller commissioning and customer acceptance for warranty activation support

• Assist in qualifying third-party operations and maintenance service providers

• Contribute to product development, sales, and marketing efforts

• Collaborate with Technical Services to execute field repairs and document technical challenges

• Relay customer requirements, concerns, and feedback to relevant internal teams

• Maintain a personal credit card balance of up to $2,000 for reimbursable travel expenses

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in power generation and commissioning

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience

• Strong comprehension of technical and customer support for utility-scale and distributed generation projects

• Significant experience in troubleshooting power-generation systems

• Extensive familiarity with various control systems

• Passion for advancing the growth and development of the renewable energy sector

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities

• OSHA 10 certification

• Willingness to travel up to 75%

• Capability to walk for extended periods during the workday while carrying tools and equipment

• Ability to maintain a personal credit card balance of up to $2,000 for reimbursable travel expenses
