This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct searches of public records and evaluate titles to assess the legal status of predominantly commercial or industrial property titles.
• Summarize or replicate recorded documents that impact property titles.
• Analyze real property titles of various complexities and establish the chain of title.
• Carry out title examinations for mainly commercial and residential title orders.
• Abstract and evaluate leases, subleases, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, plot books, and map books.
• Identify ownership and legal constraints, and ensure the accuracy of property legal descriptions and completeness of records across county lines.
• Address issues related to missing, incomplete, inaccurate, or conflicting title documentation.
• Create initial title commitment documentation following procedural protocols.
• Prepare and assess reports for correctness.
• Provide underwriting interpretations within defined guidelines as necessary.
• Independently manage projects that vary from straightforward parcels to intricate commercial properties.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Proficient analytical review abilities.

• Robust problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in standard Microsoft software.
• Familiarity with company operating systems.
• Knowledge of legal terminology is advantageous.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Title Examination.
• Experience with Title Examination in Florida.
